book sculpture by nicholas jones
To me, the sculptural work of Nicholas Jones transforms a book (that which uses verbal language to create imagery) into a visually poetic piece of art. By decontextualizing the object and its words, his work allows the viewer to form his own narrative and to respond with emotions untainted by someone else's language.
