monacca bags

monacca

Monacca produces home decor and personal accessory items made from thinned Japanese cedar in Umaji Village, Kochi Prefecture of Japan. Above are the Kaku and Maru bags, which cost a pretty penny but they are sure to wow someone in an interview or a client meeting!

The wood is actually repurposed from trees that have been "thinned" in the cedar forests. Trees are maintained in order to prevent extremely dense forests that would result in poor quality trees and the scrapped wood was not utilized before Monacca.
