Justin surprised me with an iPad for my birthday this year - you know, the kind of surprise that happens when you didn't ask for, or ever imply that, you wanted that item. Well, after much convincing I'm now using it daily for important matters as well as goofing off.
When looking for a distinctive case I came across these iPad cases from the Swiss company Freitag. Each case is unique because each is handmade from snippets of used truck tarpaulins. I was particularly drawn to the cases with graphic color blocking, most likely formed from abstract sections of type. You can follow their design and production process through these beautiful photographs.
