Aaron Rayburn, along with 17 other Portland-based artists, created an installation of giant type using 14.2 miles of string, outlining 25 letters on 2,500 eyelets, strung by hand. I'm not sure if this was intentional, but my favorite detail is the string's shadows, which make the installation look almost twice as busy/complex.

this is insane! i wish i knew how long this took..one can only guess AWHILE.
i'd say whichever artist had the "i"s lucked out :)
