friday inspiration

The PEN Story, a wonderful stop motion piece about a 50th anniversary - from the beginning! From the creator, "This is the PEN Story in stop motion. We shot 60,000 pictures, developed 9,600 prints and shot over 1,800 pictures again. No post production! Thanks to all the stop motion artists who inspired us."

That is AMAZING, so beautiful! I expected a flip book when I saw it was going to be a stop motion piece, but i just adore the way it was done! So clever. I especially like how the background scenery was laid out first in some 'scenes' and then the walker/biker/etc would flow across it. gorgeous. I can't imagine the work that went into that! -amy

I adore how the pictures progressed through the house and broke the laws of gravity and just expanded and contracted... everything!

Fabulous.

You should seriously make a shorter version, and attempt to make it a commercial. Seriously. For Olympus or something. It would be really good.
