John Baker and Juli Daoust, owners of Toronto-based Mjölk, could have slapped some black paint on a sandwich board and called it a day. Instead, and as with the lovely products sold in their design shop, attention was paid to the details. Charred wood and copper hinges elevate what could have been an ordinary sign to an object worthy of appreciation. This an inspirational project for me, because no detail is too small. Happy Friday!
